10 How will my student be reviewed?
Every parent wants to know how their child is doing, and if they are progressing musically. Each semester a review session is held with the student, parent(s), teacher, and studio manager.
Here we will review the student's progress as well as the student and parent's expectations for the upcoming semester. If required we can make changes to the course of study, home practice, and maybe change teachers.
11 Is there a way to track student's performance?
If you choose, we can send you a complimentary email after each lesson reviewing the results of the weekly practice, and next week's assignment. We believe that the more involved the parents are with weekly practice, the faster the child learns.
12 Does your studio participate in recitals?
Students who work hard want to show off their achievements. We hold two annual recitals where students perform their "showpiece." Here is where we publicly award certificates for reaching milestones in the student's musical education.
13 Are there any special events?
Throughout the year are seminars and clinics. These are the special events covering a single topic and are geared to a particular playing level. When available, we invite nationally known artists to hold clinics and concerts. Admission is limited to our students.
14 Can I take lessons even though I am an adult?
Believe it or not - adults learn faster than children. Adults want to play-for-fun, and they want to play now! Adult lessons are structured so that you enjoy your music while you are learning.
No long term contract required, we only want students who truly want to learn with us.Still have questions?
